Roman Golovchenko


Raman Aliaksandravich Halouchanka is a Belarusian politician serving as Prime Minister of Belarus since June 2020. He was appointed by President Alexander Lukashenko to the position two months prior to the 2020 Belarusian presidential election. Prior to his appointment, he served as the Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee.

Career

Halouchanka graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 1996. He also graduated from the Academy of Public Administration in 2003. In 2009, he was named First Deputy Minister of State. In 2013, he was made Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates. In 2018, he was named Ambassador to Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
