Darian Jenkins


Darian Michelle Jenkins is an American soccer forward for OL Reign of the National Women's Soccer League. She previously played for Melbourne Victory and North Carolina Courage.

College career

UCLA Bruins

Jenkins scored 29 goals in 76 appearances for the UCLA Bruins women's soccer team, and was team co-captain in her 2016 senior season. In their 2016 season opener, Jenkins scored a hat trick in the first half of the match, the Bruins' first hat trick since Sydney Leroux scored one in 2011. She broke her fibula in a match on October 2, 2016, ending her collegiate career.

Club career

North Carolina Courage, 2017–2018

Jenkins was the North Carolina Courage's second pick in the 2017 National Women's Soccer League College Draft in January 2017, selected 7th overall. She signed with the Courage on April 10 and was immediately placed on the 45-day disabled list while she continued to recover from her fibula injury. Jenkins was not added to the active roster in 2017 as she continued to recover from injury.
She would make her debut for the Courage on March 24, 2018 against the Portland Thorns, appearing as a second half substitute. Jenkins appeared in 13 regular season games for the Courage in 2018. She was a stoppage time substitute in the Championship Game as the Courage won the 2018 NWSL Championship by defeating the Portland Thorns 3-0.

Reign FC, 2019–present

On December 17, 2018 Jenkins was traded to the Reign FC in exchange for Seattle's 9th overall pick in the 2019 NWSL College Draft.
