United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio


The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio is the federal trial court for the northern half of Ohio. The court has courthouses in Cleveland, Toledo, Akron, and Youngstown.
Appeals from this court are heard by the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
The United States Attorney's Office of the Northern District of Ohio represents the United States in civil and criminal litigation in the court. The current United States Attorney is Justin Herdman since August 2017.
