Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2


The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is an upcoming high-end Android-based foldable smartphone developed by Samsung Electronics for its Samsung Galaxy Z series, succeeding the Samsung Galaxy Fold. It will be unveiled on 5 August 2020 alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Watch 3.
On July 6, 2020, SamMobile exclusively reported that the successor of the Galaxy Fold will be called the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

Specifications

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is expected to have a clamshell design, like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, with the colours Blue, Pink, Silver, Gold and Black. Its inner display when unfolded might be an Infinity-O 7.59/7.7 inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate that supports UTG whilst the outer display might be a 4.23/6.23 inch AMOLED display with a 60/120 Hz refresh rate. Inside, the phablet might feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855/865 octa-processor with 256/512GBs of storage. The phablet may also feature water resistance and have an elongated notification feature to reveal content on the main display, like that of the Z Flip. There may also be aluminium, ceramic and glass versions too. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 might have a 12 MP main camera, a 64 MP telephoto camera and a 16 MP ultra wide camera with a DepthSensor and dual optical image stabilization whilst the front camera may only be 10MPs in the form of a punch-hole design.
