Biography
He was an
Augustinian Canon
at
Kells Priory
in
County Kilkenny
until
appointed
Bishop of Ferns
on
10 December
1400. He was
consecrated bishop
at
Rome
in
December
1400. Barrett was also the
Lord Chancellor of Ireland
from
1410
to
1412
. He
died
on
10 November
1415
and was
buried
at
Kells
Priory
.
