Mohana Bhogaraju


Mohana Bhogaraju is an Indian playback singer. She has sung for Telugu, Tamil, films. The song "Manohari" from the film Baahubali: The Beginning has not only knocked the door of further opportunities but also made her win "Radio Mirchi –Mirchi Music upcoming female vocalist 2015" award in Telugu Cinema.

Early life

She completed her bachelor's degree from Bhojreddy Engineering College and MBA from Osmania University. Since childhood, Mohana has always had a fascination towards Music and participated in many competitions held at schools and at various ethnic auditoriums such as Ravindra Bharati, Thyagaraja Ghana Sabha, and so forth at a very young age.
She began singing at the age of 6, her mother was the first person to recognise her talent and always accommodated her to many singing competitions held at various places. Though Mohana possesses the great talent, outcomes from the competitions were futile, but this did not cease her passion to become a singer instead, helped her to successfully step-up into Playback singing. She still vividly remembers receiving her first award from a former Assembly Speaker late "D.Sripada Rao" at the age of 8.

Musical career

Mohana started her career in 2013. She has sung her first song in the movie Jai Sriram. She was well known by mass after her career singing "Manohari" from – The Beginning. Since then there was no turning back and she added to her list, many popular numbers from the films Baahubali. Her song "Bale Bale" from movie Bhale Bhale Magadivoy was charted in Radio Mirchi. She also sang the reprise version of Mast Qalandar. She has given her voice in more than 75 Telugu Movies.
