Mick Fuller


Michael John Fuller, is the Commissioner of the New South Wales Police Force. He replaced Andrew Scipione on 31 March 2017, when Scipione retired.

Career

Fuller joined the New South Wales Police Force in 1987 and was stationed at Kogarah Police Station. He undertook duties as a both a uniformed police officer and a plain clothes criminal investigator.
In 2000, Fuller was promoted to detective sergeant, then to inspector in 2002. He was later promoted to superintendent, and for two years was in charge of the City Central Local Area Command. He was appointed assistant commissioner in 2010.
It was announced on 30 March 2017 that Fuller would replace Andrew Scipione as Commissioner of the New South Wales Police Force.
On October 17, 2019, Fuller's son Jacob Fuller pleaded guilty to drink driving on a suspended license.

Honours and awards

Fuller was awarded the Australian Police Medal in 2009 for distinguished service in policing.
