Meenakshi Chaudhary is an Indian model, actor and beauty pageant titleholder. She represented the state of Haryana at the Femina Miss India 2018 pageant, where she was crowned as Miss Grand India. Chaudhary represented India at the :es:Miss Grand Internacional 2018|Miss Grand International 2018 beauty pageant held in Yangon, Myanmar and was crowned as 1st runner up, becoming India's highest placer in the pageant.
Chaudhary's journey in pageantry began with Fbb Campus Princess 2018 where she was crowned as one of the winners from Patiala auditions. She then auditioned for the title Femina Miss Haryana 2018, which she eventually won. She represented the state of Haryana in annual Femina Miss India competition and was crowned 1st runner up at Femina Miss India 2018 finale held on 19 June 2018. She also won the sub-title 'Miss Photogenic' at the competition. She was later crowned as Miss Grand India 2018. Chaudhary has been featured on the covers of various magazines, including the September edition of Femina. Chaudhary represented India at :es:Miss Grand Internacional 2018|Miss Grand International 2018 pageant in Yangon, Myanmar, where she made it to the top 12 in 'Best National Costume' and top 5 in 'Miss Popular'. On 25 October 2018, she won the first runner-up title to Miss Grand International in the finale. She is the first Indian woman to reach the said placement at the pageant. Chaudhary won the title of 'Miss Grand Slam 2018' by :id:Global Beauties|Global Beauties, besting 440 national representatives who represented their countries in the five Grand Slam beauty pageants. She is India's first Global Beauties' Miss Grand Slam winner since Lara Dutta, Miss Universe 2000. In May 2019, Chaudhary made it to the 2nd place in the list of Times 50 Most Desirable Women of India 2018. At Femina Miss India 2019 sub-contest crowning ceremony, she was felicitated with the 'Pride of India' award by the Times Group for her accomplishments in international pageant.
Acting
Chaudhary made her television debut with the web series titled Out of Love, which is an official adaptation of BBCdrama seriesDoctor Foster. She played the role of Alia Kashyap, a 22 year old who faces adversity, stress and the repercussions for having a relationship with a married person. In 2020, she was cast as a lead, opposite Sushanth Anumolu in a Telugu movie, titled Ichata Vahanamulu Nilupa Radhu.
