Mark Knoll


Mark Knoll is a Canadian former speed skater. He twice took part in the Winter Olympic Games.
In 1998 he went to the Winter Olympic Games in Nagano and on the 5000 m, he finished 24th. Four years later he went to Salt Lake City to settle for an 18th place on the same distance.
On April 26, 2003 he married Dutch skater Tonny de Jong. They have three children: Ryder Knoll, Nico Knoll, and Jasper Knoll.
He currently teaches Language Arts, Social Studies, Journalism and Creative Writing at Westmount Charter School.
