Skopje Fest 2008 was a song contest organized by MRT that served as Macedonia's national final to select their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008.Competing entries
A submission period for interested artists and composers to submit their entries was opened on late 2007. MRT received 130 submissions at the close of the deadline. An expert committee consisting of officials and past Eurovision contestants selected fifteen artists and songs for the competition from the received submissions. In addition to the received submissions, MRT also invited well-known composers to directly commission six songs for the competition but were all withdrawn before the final.Artist | Song ' | Songwriter |

Final
The final, broadcast on terrestrial and satellite television, took place on 12 November 2014 at the Metropolis Arena in Skopje, hosted by Živkica Gjurčinovska and Borislav Tnokovski. Fifteen songs competed and the winner was chosen through a 50/50 combination of public televoting and the votes of an expert jury. At the conclusion of the voting, Tamara feat. Vrčak & Adrian Gaxha and the song "Vo ime na ljubovta" was selected as the winner.Eurovision
At Eurovision, Macedonia took part in the second semifinal on 22 May 2008, but they finished 10th, and the jury didn't select them as the tenth qualified country for the final. This marked the first time that Macedonia failed to qualify for the final since the semi-final format was introduced in 2004.Points awarded by Macedonia
