Helmut Coing
Helmut Coing - university teacher and legal historian from Germany. He was born on February 28, 1912 in Celle and died on August 15, 2000 in Kronberg im Taunus. He was awarded the Hessian Order of Merit, the Goethe Plaque of the City of Frankfurt, the Great Cross with Star and Sash of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, the honorary doctorate of the University of Montpellier, the Officer of the Legion of Honour, the Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, the doctor honoris causa, the Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts, the Honorary doctor of the University of Vienna.
