One day he notices Yang Yang, a pretty young deaf girl who follows the team to cheer on her sister Xiao Peng, who's hoping to make the cut for the forthcoming Deaflympics. Tian Kuo's instantly smitten. With the use of sign language, he tries to strike up a friendship with Yang Yang, hoping it'll lead to something more. As it turns out, Yang Yang is not actually deaf.
