Gmina Prudnik


Gmina Prudnik is an urban-rural gmina in Prudnik County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, on the Czech border. Its seat is the town of Prudnik, which lies approximately south-west of the regional capital Opole.
The gmina covers an area of, and as of 2019 its total population is 27,157.
The gmina contains part of the protected area called Opawskie Mountains Landscape Park.

Apart from the town of Prudnik, Gmina Prudnik contains the villages and settlements of Chocim, Czyżowice, Dębowiec, Łąka Prudnicka, Mieszkowice, Moszczanka, Niemysłowice, Piorunkowice, Rudziczka, Szybowice, Wierzbiec and Wieszczyna.
