Gateway Tower (Cubao)


The Gateway Tower at the Araneta City is a 31-storey Mixed Use skyscraper in Quezon City, Philippines. It serves as the headquarters of the Araneta Group replacing the Aurora Tower.

Construction

The Gateway Tower project plans have been in place since the opening of the Gateway Mall 1 in 2004, as part of the Araneta Center Master Plan, including additional shops to the Gateway Mall, BPO-IT Offices, and penthouse offices. However, the construction has been delayed over Master Planning Issues, and alleged overspending and construction issues hounding over the Gateway Mall. Initially the construction of the Gateway Tower commenced on second half of 2010, with Design Coordinates, Inc. Construction as the main contractor of the project, using Structural Steel Frames for the structure of the tower.
The tower was topped off at the first half of 2012, before being fully completed in the 4th Quarter of 2012.

Location

The tower is strategically located at the Araneta City along Gen. Aguinaldo Ave. and Gen Malvar and Gen. Roxas Avenues. The tower is connected to the Gateway Mall, the New Frontier Theater and the Manhattan Parkview via elevated bridge and the Araneta Center-Cubao LRT Station. The tower is also located near the Araneta City Cyberpark, the Aurora Tower, the Manhattan Garden City condominiums, the MRT Araneta Center-Cubao Station, and major shopping centers such as the Farmers Plaza, Ali Mall and SM Cubao.
The tower is also part of the Gateway Square, a block consisting the two Gateway Malls, the Novotel Manila Araneta City, the Ibis Styles Araneta City, the Smart Araneta Coliseum, and the Araneta Coliseum Parking Garage, all connected by bridges and walkways.

Tenants

Directly connected to the Gateway Mall with additional of retail spaces, The Gateway Tower houses companies like the Araneta Group, Accenture, Regus, AIG, TTEC, Sykes Enterprises Recruitment Hub, Acquire Asia Pacific Philippines Recruitment Facility, and Keller Williams. It also houses the Gateway Gallery, an Art museum that showcases history, arts and culture. and the Topiary Garden, an open-air area with lush greenery.
