Novotel Manila Araneta City


Novotel Manila Araneta City, alternately named Novotel Manila Araneta Center, is a hotel at the Araneta City in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The mid-scale, full service hotel is part of AccorHotels, and the first hotel under the Novotel brand in the Philippines.

History

The hotel was launched in February 2012 with a ceremonial lowering of a time capsule, as well as a presentation of the hotel's features. The hotel is a joint venture by Araneta Center Hotel, Inc. and AccorHotels. The hotel building which cost around was topped off on July 29, 2014. It was initially planned by the end of 2014 and later early 2015 that the hotel will start accepting guest, but the hotel had its soft opening later in October 2015. Then President Benigno Aquino III led the grand launch of the hotel on March 8, 2016.

Architecture

The building of Novotel Manila Araneta Center has 24 floors. EEI Corporation, a construction firm was involved in the construction of the hotel building. London-based architect Sudhakar Thakurdesai, Kang Tang of Taiwan and lighting firm Lumino Design are likewise involved. Thai-firm IA49 were the interior designers. Local firm PGAA Creative Design also did the landscaping work of the hotel.

Features

The hotel features an urban contemporary architecture that emphasizes natural light and offers a variety of rooms, ranging from the Superior Rooms, Deluxe Room, Executive Rooms, Executive Suites, and a Presidential Suite measuring 694 square meters.
The hotel offers 6 different restaurants, namely the Food Exchange Manila, the Sabor Bar de Vinos, the Gourmet Bar, the 6th Pool Bar and Lounge, Indulge, and the Premier Lounge, with foods served fresh from the Araneta Group farm in San Mateo, Rizal. The hotel also offers indoor and outdoor venues, for MICE Amenities including the Versailles Event Garden, with 2,500 square meter of grass, including an events tent, and archways.
