Reception

In The Encyclopedia of American Animated Television Shows, David Perlmutter writes, "While this program started out well, given the veteran talent involved, it quickly faltered, becoming so obsessed with plotting the minutiae of its own self-created fishbowl universe that it abruptly lost its creative touch." He criticizes the voice acting as "incredibly shrill; loud; and, above all, hammy," and says that the show "was a shotgun wedding between the typically hyperspace-paced narrative approaches of Cartoon Network... and the more measured and balanced style typical of Disney."
