Erin Houchin
Erin Houchin is an American politician from the state of Indiana. A member of the Republican Party, she serves in the Indiana State Senate, representing the 47th district.
Houchin is from Salem, Indiana. She received her master's degree in political management from George Washington University. She worked as a field manager for U.S. Senator Dan Coats. Houchin was first elected to the Indiana Senate in 2014, defeating Richard D. Young, the incumbent. She ran for the United States House of Representatives for in the 2016 elections, but lost in the primary election to Trey Hollingsworth.
