Delugan Meissl Associated Architects


Delugan Meissl Associated Architects is an Austrian architecture firm based in Vienna, Austria. DMAA has designed notable buildings including the Porsche Museum, Stuttgart and the EYE Film Institute Netherlands.

The architectural firm was founded in 1993 by Elke Delungan-Miessl. and won the Austrian State Prize in 2015.

History

Elke Delugan-Meissl was born in Linz, Austria in 1959 and got her architecture degree from University of Innsbruck. Roman Delugan was born in Merano, Italy in 1963. He got his architecture degree from University of Applied Arts Vienna. They founded Delugan Meissl ZT GmbH in 1993 and DMAA in 2004.
DMAA designed the Novartis headquarters in Vienna and the San Francisco offices of surgeon Jordan Deschamps-Braly. They have also designed residential buildings including House Ray1 in Vienna and Casa Invisibile in Slovenia.
Their work on the Porsche Museum was the subject of a book by architect HG Merz.
