Citroën C4 Aircross


The Citroën C4 Aircross is a C-segment crossover closely related to its sister vehicles, the Mitsubishi ASX and the Peugeot 4008. It was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2012. Like the C4 Picasso and C4 Cactus, it also bears the C4 moniker. The C4 Aircross was confirmed not to be sold in the United Kingdom or Ireland in October 2011, due to the Peugeot 3008 already being sold in those countries.
The C4 Aircross was only sold in : France, Luxembourg, China, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Slovakia, Russia, Ukraine, Mongolia, Romania, Germany, South Africa, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Norway, Baltic countries, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Argentina, New Zealand and Australia, while its related twin Peugeot 4008 was being sold in less countries globally, however including European countries listed above, but neither United Kingdom nor Ireland in RHD.

Trim levels

The C4 Aircross was available in three trim levels: Attraction, Comfort and Exclusive. The Attraction models offered among others seven series airbags, manual air conditioning, MP3/CD radio, and electric mirrors.
With the Comfort trims, buyers also benefit from cruise control, automatic climate control, fog lights, and alloy wheels. Finally, Exclusive allows customers to have front passenger and rearview camera assist, GPS, electric and heated front seats, as well as 18 inch alloy wheels.
The entry level was therefore symbolized by the C4 Aircross 1.6i in Attraction finish. In diesel, the SUV starts with the HDi 115 Attraction. Finally, the high end C4 Aircross was available with the HDi 150 Exclusive.

Successor

The production of the C4 Aircross ceased in April 2017, after five years of marketing, noting the failure of this car which was a rebadged Mitsubishi ASX. It was replaced by the Citroën C5 Aircross, which was unveiled at the Shanghai 2017 China Fair, and then presented in Frankfurt, Germany, before being marketed in 2018.
However in China, the C4 Aircross nameplate is given to a long wheel base version of the C3 Aircross since December 2018.
