Burley Municipal Airport


Burley Municipal Airport is a mile northeast of Burley, in Cassia County, Idaho. The airport was rededicated as Burley J R Jack Simplot Airport in October 2002, honoring J. R. "Jack" Simplot.
The first airline flights were Empire Airlines Boeing 247s in 1946; successors West Coast and Air West landed at Burley until 1969.

The airport covers and has two asphalt runways: 2/20 is 4,094 x 80 ft and 6/24 is 4,067 x 75 ft.
