Adolphus Ludigo-Mkasa

Adolphus Ludigo-Mkasa, also known as Adolofu Mukasa Ludigo, was a Ugandan Catholic martyr killed for his faith. He was born in the kingdom of Toro in the western part of the country, and became a companion of Charles Lwanga at the court of King Mwanga II.
He was one of many Christians put to death by the king between 1885 and 1887; his day of martyrdom, June 3, is remembered as the feast day of the Uganda Martyrs.
