was the defending champion and successfully defended his title, defeating Novak Djokovic in the final, 7–6, 6–3. He also won the title without losing a set or having his serve broken; this was the second time he did so here, after his 2012 title. It marked the first time Federer toppled the No. 1 and No. 2 players in consecutive matches en route to a title. It was Djokovic's 5th runners-up finish without winning the title.
