Zuo Qiuming


Zuo Qiuming, Zuoqiu Ming or Qiu Ming was a Chinese historian who was a contemporary of Confucius that lived in the State of Lu during the Spring and Autumn period of ancient China.
The influential Zuozhuan is traditionally attributed to him. He is also possibly a contributor to Guoyu. One tradition, according to the Records of the Grand Historian, holds that he was blind.
Zuo is noted in the Analects as a paragon of virtue to Confucius.
