Zoltán Kallós
Zoltán Kallós - ethnographer and collector of folk music from Romania. He was born on March 26, 1926 in Răscruci and died on February 14, 2018 in Răscruci. He graduated from the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy. He was awarded the Kossuth Grand Prize, the St. Stephen Prize, the Haztörekvés m-díj, the Honorary citizen of Szeged, the National Artist Award, the Honorary citizen of Cluj County, the Corvin Chain, the Kölcsey memorial plaque, the Kossuth Prize, the European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards, the Commander with Star of the Order of Merit of Hungary, the Hungarian Heritage Award.
