Zoetica Ebb


Zoetica Ebb is a Russian-American artist, photographer, writer, model and alternative culture personage.

Publications

Ebb is one of the co-founders of Coilhouse Magazine – a print and web art publication established in 2007. She has also worked as a photographer and culture writer for Red Bull's ChinaShop Magazine, as well as a photographer for SuicideGirls. Additionally, she has contributed artwork to Occupy Comics, and runs the popular personal blog Biorequiem.

Art and Fashion Design

In 2011, Zoetica Ebb collaborated with Canadian design team Plastik Wrap for a Victorian-inspired collection titled GHST RDR.
In 2013, Ebb began developing an ongoing series of large-scale drawings of fantasy flora entitled, "Alien Botany". After moving to Ireland in 2014, she delved further into fashion design, releasing limited editions of leggings and scarves dubbed, "wearable art". Ebb and her leggings are featured in the cover story of the summer 2014 issue of Auxiliary Magazine. In 2015 and 2016, she released several styles of dresses under the "Alien Botany" moniker. These dresses are featured in an editorial styled and art-directed by Ebb, published in the Spring 2016 issue of Auxiliary Magazine.
After being inspired by the presidential campaign of senator Bernie Sanders, Ebb contributed a drawing of the candidate to The Art of a Political Revolution – the official Sanders campaign art exhibition featuring work by artists who support his message of social change.

Ebb has stated that she is of Russian-Jewish and Uighur descent.
Ebb is the founder of D4RT – a mobile art class that aims to bring workshops and public art projects to impoverished communities, including Yantaló, Peru, where she donated supplies, painted a mural, and conducted a children's art workshop in the Amazon jungle. Ebb appeared as herself in the documentary . She is set to play the role of 'The Temptress' in Ramzi Abed's film Noirland, which is scheduled for release in 2013.
