World Travel Awards
The World Travel Awards were founded in 1993, and are administered by the British for-profit company World Media And Events Limited. Awards are given both on an overall world-level basis, and on eight international region-levels, in a wide range of categories including tourist hotels/accommodation, tourist attractions, and airlines/transport. They have been described as the "Oscars of the travel industry".
