World Music Festival Chicago


The World Music Festival Chicago is a music festival held in Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is held annually by the city. It lasts for eight days and has featured musicians from over 75 countries since its inception.
The festival was founded by Michael Orlove. However, he was laid off in 2011, and the director of performing arts at Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, Shoshona Currier, was in charge of scheduling the 2012 event.
