Wisconsin Senate, District 8


The 8th District of the Wisconsin Senate is located in Southeastern Wisconsin, and is composed of parts of Milwaukee County, Ozaukee County, Washington County, and Waukesha County.

Current elected officials

is the senator serving the 8th district. She has served since 1992, and was re-elected in 2016 to another four-year term. Before serving as a senator, she held an office in the State Assembly, serving the 10th District from 1990 to 1993.
The area of the 8th Senate District contains three State Assembly Districts:
The district also shares constituency with Wisconsin's 4th congressional district which is represented by U.S. Representative Gwen Moore, Wisconsin's 5th congressional district, represented by U.S. Representative Jim Sensenbrenner, and Wisconsin's 6th congressional district, represented by U.S. Representative Glenn Grothman.
