Wings for Christ Airport


Wings for Christ Airport is a private airport located northeast of Omak, Washington, a city in the Okanogan Country region of North America. It provides private general aviation services and has a runway numbered 16–34, but the nearby Omak Airport handles most of the city's aviation services.

History

It is owned and operated by Lonnie Good and Sherry Good, serving the Okanogan area itself. As it is a private airport, permission is required prior to landing at the Wings for Christ Airport. Rights for permanent public use of the Wings for Christ Airport were approved in January 2007. The airport obtained no passengers in 2011.
No accidents or incidents have occurred at the Wings for Christ Airport throughout its history. Omak Airport—a public airport serving the same city—is generally used for its public aviation services, having handled a number of these throughout its history. It is positioned away from this airport.

The airport is located off Washington State Route 20 and Engh Road in Omak, northeast of city center. The airport maintains no facilities or services, and is generally used for private general aviation services. Its airfield has a runway numbered 16–34.
