As members of the Peace-Cariboo League, the Mustangs won the PCJHL Trophy twice as playoff champions. In 1996, the Mustangs ceased operations. They would later be replaced by the Williams Lake TimberWolves in the early 2000s in the British Columbia Hockey League.
