William W. Lockwood


William Wirt Lockwood was an American academic who was Research Secretary and Executive Secretary at the Institute of Pacific Relations. He is perhaps most noted for his classic 1954 study The economic development of Japan.
He was president of the Association for Asian Studies in 1963.
