William Hale (born 1998)


William Hale is a British entrepreneur and mental health advocate who appeared on Channel 5's two-part documentary My Extreme OCD Life. Hale has obsessive compulsive disorder, which he found severely debilitating, making him housebound.

Career

Hale began his first Internet venture at age 14, the creation of online plane-spotting community called 'Plane Spotting UK' for hobbyists across Britain. He sold the website and its accompanying app in 2016.
In late 2015, Hale began providing marketing and web development services to small local businesses.
The teenager appeared on a TV documentary entitled My Extreme OCD Life in August 2017, which explores obsessive compulsive disorder and how it affects sufferers. Hale was filmed in various locations including Wilmslow, Manchester Airport, intu Trafford Centre and on a narrowboat.
In December 2017 Hale invested in a digital web and marketing agency, Rocket Online, which rebranded to 'Milkshake Creative' in January 2018. Hale shared his struggles and journey of launching his business whilst suffering with OCD and how successful businesswoman, Holly Moore, helped him grow his business in a press release.
