William D. Thomas


William David Thomas was a member of the United States House of Representatives from New York.

Life

Thomas was born in Granville, New York. He graduated from the Albany College of Pharmacy in 1904. He served as the town clerk of Hoosick Falls, New York from 1917 until 1925.
He was a member of the New York State Assembly in 1925 and 1926. He was Treasurer of Rensselaer County from 1927 to 1933.
He was elected as a Republican to Congress, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of James S. Parker, holding office from January 30, 1934, until his death on May 17, 1936, in Washington, D.C..
