Wheaton Academy


Wheaton Academy is a private, Christian, co-educational high school in West Chicago, Illinois, United States. It was established in 1853.

Academics

The school is recognized by the state of Illinois and the DuPage County Education Service Region. Wheaton Academy is also a member of the Association of Christian Schools International. In September 2019 Wheaton Academy was awarded the blue ribbon from the US Department of Education.

Athletics

Wheaton Academy is a member of the Illinois High School Association as well as the Suburban Christian Conference. In 2014, the school moved to the Metro Suburban Conference.

State championships

The school's athletic facilities include seven tennis courts, four basketball courts, turf football/soccer/lacrosse field, two baseball and softball diamonds. Its fine arts facilities include a multipurpose performance hall, a visual arts room, and a ceramics studio. It has an idea lab with woodworking equipment, laser cutter machines and 3d printers.
