Wembley High Technology College


Wembley High Technology College is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, situated in Brent, a borough situated in Greater London, England. It is currently the top school in Brent, and performs 2nd in the country for the 4th year running.
Formerly called East Lane County Secondary school since 1934, then Wembley High School from 1979, Wembley High Technology College was established in 2003 and is a popular and heavily oversubscribed secondary school. Amit Hathi is the current headteacher of Wembley High. Thanks to his leadership Wembley High has been transformed into an 'Outstanding' School and has, for the fourth year running, gained one of the top results in Brent. Its Chair of Governors is Councillor Ruth Moher, and the school's ward is located at Northwick Park.
The college has recently improved facilities, adding a new science block, several astroturf pitches a new hall, and a sixth form block. The school converted to academy status in August 2012.

Uniform

All students at Wembley High wear a Navy blue V-neck pullover, sweatshirt, or cardigan with the college logo, a plain white shirt or blouse with collar, the college tie which is blue and red striped with logo, boys should wear black full-length trousers and girls should wear a black knee length skirt or black full-length trousers, and a plain black footwear with no fashion designer labels. Year 7,8,9 and 10 also wear a college blazer with logo. For the physical education lessons, students wear white sweatshirt and navy blue or black pants with no fashion designer labels.
