Wayne High School (Oklahoma)


Wayne High School is a high school located in Wayne, Oklahoma, in the United States. The school's mascot is a bulldog. Wayne has an average of 500 students grades K-12. The elementary school averages 220 students, the middle school averages 110 students and the high school averages 170 students per year. Its sports include football, fast pitch softball, basketball, slow pitch softball, baseball and track. Its boys and girls teams share a solid tradition in athletics. Wayne won its first Class A football Championship in 2011 and first Class 2A fast pitch Championship in 2012. It also reached the state finals in boys basketball in 1971. It has won 2 Class 3A slow pitch titles in 2000 and 2006. Its baseball program has won over 30 district titles with 1 appearance in the Class A state tournament.
