Vivien Zapf
Vivien
Zapf
is a
research scientist

Los Alamos National Laboratory
. She received her
bachelor's degree
in physics with
computer science
from
Harvey Mudd college
in 2000 and a PhD in
University of California, San Diego
in 2003. Zapf studies Multiferrics and
Quantum Magnetism
. In

, she was

as a
Fellow of the American Physical Society
for her contribution to the understanding of the
quantum mechanical properties
of
