Farkaš, a
biochemist
working
for the
Research Institute

Viticulture
and
Wine-making
in
Bratislava
.
Production
of the
drink
began in
1974
. After years of
trademark
ownership
disputes
, Vinea was
sold
to
Kofola
in
January 2008
.
