Victor J. Glover
Victor Jerome Glover is a NASA astronaut of the class of 2013.Biography
Glover is a commander in the U.S. Navy who hails from Pomona, California. He is an F/A-18 pilot and graduate of the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School. Glover holds degrees from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, Air University and Naval Postgraduate School. Glover is a member of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity.
He was a legislative fellow working on the personal staff of John McCain.
In August 2018 Glover was assigned to fly on the first operational flight, and the second crewed flight overall, of SpaceX's Crew Dragon to the International Space Station as part of NASA's Commercial Crew Development Program. As part of that mission, he will be a crew member on ISS Expeditions 64 & 65.
He is married to Dionna Odom Glover and they have four children.Education
Glover graduated from Ontario High School in 1994. He then received his Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California in 1999.
Later on he earned three Master of Science degrees: The first one, a Master of Science in Flight test engineering at Air University , Edwards Air Force Base, California, 2007. The second one, a Master of Science in Systems Engineering at Naval Postgraduate School, 2009.
