Victor Giraud


Victor Giraud - French philologist, romanist and journalist. He was born on November 26, 1868 in Mâcon and died on February 14, 1953 in Sartrouville. He graduated from the École normale supérieure. He was awarded the Prix Hélène Porgès, the Prix Aubry-Vitet, the Louis Barthou Prize, the Alfred Née Award, the Prix d'éloquence, the Knight of the Legion of Honour.
