Verdon is a town in southeastern Brown County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 5 at the 2010 census.

History

Verdon was platted in 1886. It was named after the city of Verdun, France. A post office was established at Verdon in 1887, and remained in operation until being discontinued in 1982.
