Vamshi Paidipally


Vamshi Paidipally is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He is known for directing mainstream works such as Munna, Brindavanam, Yevadu, Oopiri for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Director - Telugu and Maharshi.

Early life

Vamshi Paidipally was born in khanapur, Adilabad, Telangana, India. Since his childhood he has been fascinated by films. His father had a theatre in his district so he grew up in the atmosphere of theater. He did his schooling in Hyderabad Public School, and his intermediate from Little Flower Junior College. He then completed Bachelor's degree in commerce and Master's in Computer Applications from Osmania University, and had worked as a software engineer in Hyderabad.

Personal life

Vamshi Paidipally is married to Malini and has a daughter, named Aadya Paidipally.
