University of Palangka Raya


The University of Palangka Raya was established on November 10, 1963. It is the first and the oldest state university in Central Kalimantan. UPR consists of seven faculties: Education, Economics and Business, Agriculture, Engineering, Law, Social and Political Science, and Medicine. Currently, the rector is Dr Andrie Elia, SE., M.Si, who is also the General Chair of the Board of Dayak Culture. It is ranked 67th out of Universities in the Republic of Indonesia, and is accredited B grade by the National Higher Education Accreditation Board.
