Unearthed Films


Unearthed Films is a U.S. film distribution and production company that imports exploitation films primarily from Eastern Asia.

History

The company was created by Stephen Biro, Paul White and Rhett Rushing. Their initial releases were the first official North American releases of the cult Japanese Guinea Pig film series. In addition, Unearthed has also released cult films such as Rubber's Lover, 964 Pinocchio, , Aftermath, ICHI-1, Bone Sickness, Frankenhooker, Philosophy of a Knife, City of Rott and its sequel Dead Fury, Flexing with Monty, Junk, Cannibal, and Where the Dead Go to Die.
In 2013, Unearthed entered into film production. Their initial films were American versions of the Guinea Pig series. Titles included American Guinea Pig: Bouquets of Guts and Gore by Stephen Biro, American Guinea Pig: Bloodshock by Marcus Koch, American Guinea Pig: Song of Solomon by Stephen Biro, and American Guinea Pig: Sacrifice by Poison Rouge.
