Umurlu, Aydın
Umurlu is a town in the central district of Aydın Province, Turkey. At it is east of Aydın. The population of the town was 11368 as of 2012.
It is claimed that the town was named after Umur Bey, a bey of Turkmen beylik Aydınoğlu. If so, the town was founded in the 14th century.
