Tungsten pentafluoride


Tungsten fluoride is an inorganic compound with the formula WF5. It is a hygroscopic yellow solid. Like most pentafluorides, it adopts a tetrameric structure, consisting of 4 molecules. In this way, each W center achieves octahedral coordination.
