Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter is a private golf club in Jupiter, Florida with a course designed by Jack Nicklaus. It is owned by US President Donald Trump.

History

The club opened in 2002 as the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa. Trump purchased the property from Ritz-Carlton in December 2012 for $5 million. Part of the purchase involved the assumption of $30 million in debt resulting from the club members’ refundable deposits.
After purchasing the property, Trump was sued by former members, and eventually ordered to pay more than $5 million in February 2017.
On February 11, 2017 the Golf Club was used by president Trump to host Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe.
