Trevor Packer


Trevor Packer is the senior vice-president of the College Board in charge of AP exams, known for his presence on Twitter. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Personal life

Packer is the oldest of nine siblings and grew up in the LDS Church, late attending Brigham Young University. Packer graduated valedictorian of his high school. While at Brigham Young University, he studied English literature. He was initially planning on obtaining a PhD, but ultimately obtained a masters degree. For his "mission" as part of the Mormon church, he was sent to Milwaukee.

College Board

Packer has led the AP program for the College Board since 2003. Previously, he had worked as a part-time employee but was persuaded to become a full-time employee by then-AP director Lee Jones. Packer is known amongst AP students for his presence on Twitter.
