Tracy Bartram is an Australian comedian, radio personality and singer. Although born in the UK, she grew up and resides in Melbourne, Australia. She began performing stand-up comedy in 1989 while working in sales and marketing. Her first gig was a ten-minute stand-up comedy stint at the Hilton Hotel.
Career
Radio
In 1994 Bartram joined Perth station 94.5FM and worked as a double act with Fred Botica. After three years she returned to Melbourne and co-hosted the Fox FM breakfast programme Tracy & Matt in the Morning with Matt Tilley. During her time at Fox FM she interviewed many people on her own show. Interviewees included Susan Sarandon, Kristin Davis, Anastacia, Ronan Keating, Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, Geoffrey Rush and Bob Geldof. After a two-year break from radio she joined the Mix 101.1 team in March 2006 with the Tracy and Tim for Breakfast show. Bartram left that network in November 2007. From 2008 to 2011, Bartram was the regular vacation breakfast show host on 774 ABC Melbourne.
Television
Bartram also television experience. including Perth's daytime TV show, Jenny Seaton Live and Mad About Movies, she was given regular comic reporting spots on those shows, as well as being the Perth link on In Melbourne Tonight. She was also a regular panellist on Beauty and the Beast, Good Morning Australia, Rove Live, Battle of the Sexes and Mornings with Kerri-Anne. In 2015, Bartram co-hosted 12 episodes of a new television showThe Intolerant Cooks, a show designed for people with food intolerances.

Tracy Bartram began her stand up comedy career in 1989 at a try out night at the Hilton Hotel in Melbourne. Bartram writes and produces her own shows. In 1990 she launched "My Life Through the Eyes of a 60's Child", followed in 1992 by "Lipstick on the Wattle" and in 1993 by "Tracy Bartram After Dark". Other shows that she's written include "Six Foot Silly and Sexy" 1994, "Six Foot Silly and Six Months Pregnant" 1994, "Discovering My Roots" 1998, a musical performance backed by a seven piece band, "Rawhide" 2001, "Tracy Bartram Live" 2003. "Tracy Bartram Live" was recorded and released as a CD through Shock Records in 2004. She is a comedian, author, singer, radio broadcaster, keynote speaker, MC and activist. In 2004 after leaving Fox FM, she was part of an ensemble cast, in the World Premiere of "Minefields and Miniskirts". The same year her show, "Illegally Blonde", which premiered at the 2004 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and then went to Edinburgh in 2004. "Illegally Blonde" toured regional Victoria in June 2006. Bartram hosted the Melbourne Jazz FestivalOpening Ceremony and the Melbourne Jazz Awards 'The Bells' from 2003– 2010. In 2008 she performed in "Mums The Word 2 – Teenagers" in its Sydney and Perth seasons. In 2009, she formed her own band, Tracy Bartram & Her Man Band*. She hired jazz musicians as both comedy and jazz improvised. She interpretd classic pop songs into jazz tunes. Her band consisted of piano, drums, guitar & vocals.
Personal life
Bartram runs a business named Serious Laughter – the mission of which is to change people's lives through laughter. She is also a campaigner for animal, women's, children's and LGBTI rights – she works actively for her causes & for four years she created and organised the successful "Celebrity Garage Sale". She is patron of and is an active supporter of , an organisation which educates on the benefits of using non-animal tested cosmetics and household goods. Bartram runs workshops on self-care, integrity and metaphysics under the banner . She is a professional and specialist corporate MC and works as a Keynote Speaker. She is also a media trainer and works with corporations and senior management on authentic presentation.
