Towne West Square


Towne West Square is an enclosed shopping mall located in Wichita, Kansas, United States. Opened in 1980, it comprises more than 80 stores in of gross leasable area. The mall's five anchor stores include Concentrix, Dick's Sporting Goods, a Dillard's Clearance Center and JCPenney. Sears closed in December 2014, then later taken over by Convergy's not accessible from the interior of the mall. The original anchor stores in the mall were: Dillard's, Henry's, JCPenney, Montgomery Ward and Service Merchandise. Sears opened in 1994 moving a store from the open air Twin Lakes Shopping Center. The Henry's store has since been sealed off from the rest of the mall and currently houses 54 West Music Hall. In 2017, Dillard's converted their men's store in the former Montgomery Ward into a Dillard's Clearance Center after closing the women's store on the malls north side. Sears Hometown, operated in the old Henry's, closed in 2019. Later, the Convergy's name was renamed Concentrix.
